HOW TO GET TO GUADALAJARA

Guadalajara is easy to reach. There are various airlines that fly directly to Guadalajara. In case your preferred airline offers no direct flights to Guadalajara we recommend to book a flight to Mexico City and then take other fly to Guadalajara.

Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla Airport links Guadalajara with the Benito Juarez Airport located en Mexico City and the main USA airports. The airport is located just a twenty minutes from the city center and about 20 km (30’ by taxi) from the Hilton Hotel.

Airport facilities include bank and currency exchange services, ATMs, left luggage facilities, a business lounge, travel agents, an information desk, the Lost&Found office, and many shops and restaurants. The airport is served by taxis outside the terminal. A taxi from the airport to the center costs about 20 dollars.

There are plenty of car hire agencies at the airport and downtown Guadalajara, including Hertz, Avis, Budget, Sixt and Thrifty.
Driving licences issued by any of the Latinoamerican member states are valid. Drivers in possession of a licence issued by any Latinoamerican member states country do not require an international driving permit or a sworn translation of their own licence.
